Basic knowledge of toner:

1. The composition of toner consists of four components: polymer resin, charge control agents, black pigment, and additives. Polymer resin makes up 80% of the toner, charge control agents 5%, black pigment 7%, and additives 8%.

2. Strict requirements are placed on the diameter of toner particles. Through extensive testing and scientific analysis, it has been shown that the closer the particle size is to the standard and the ideal level, the better the printing quality. If the particle diameter is too large or inconsistent, it not only results in poor printing quality, such as blurriness, but also leads to increased waste and higher material loss.

3. The toner used in standard black toner printers generally carries a negative charge ("-"), as does the toner in the toner hopper, while the photosensitive drum carries a positive charge ("+"). According to physical principles, like charges repel, and opposite charges attract. As a result, the negatively charged toner is drawn out of the toner hopper and passes through the toner supply roller and the photosensitive drum, which rotate in the same direction. The positively charged photosensitive drum attracts the negatively charged toner particles to its unexposed areas, completing the printing process.
